Welcome to the webpage of the ERC-funded group Computational Petrology and Geochemistry. We aim to understand how fluids affect the rock-forming processes in the Earth’s interior between 5 and 100 km depth. For this purpose we are developing new computer models of metamorphic systems and we compare the results of computer simulation with geochemical data obtained on rocks from all around the world.
