(Center for Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology and Special Civil Engineering)
The Geotechnical Engineering and Special Civil Engineering Group, together with its affiliated Laboratory for Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology, forms part of the Institute for Infrastructure and Environment within the Department of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering at Bern University of Applied Sciences, Burgdorf campus. The Geotechnical Engineering and Special Civil Engineering Group, and in particular the Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory, works closely with the Research Group for Quaternary Geology at the University of Bern in the areas of teaching and research. In addition to general expertise in geotechnical engineering and special civil engineering, the group offers a wide range of geotechnical laboratory and field investigations.
