We study the significant importance of past and present depositional and not depositional records to better understand the future. What can we learn on sedimentary processes looking at their products such as core samples? How the different active drivers interact with the local conditions? Which are the implications and applicability of our studies? Currently we are studying a variety of environments from lake and marine settings within a variety of research topics (e.g. geohazards, environmental changes, human impacts etc..) using a multi-proxy, multi-method and multi-disciplinary approach to holistically understand such systems.
